Announcing the Special Hockey International (SHI) Annual Tournament Return to Boston for 2025!

Get ready for a fun-packed international ice hockey event! From April 24th – 26th, this exciting tournament will be held in the historic city of Boston, bringing together over sixty teams from around the globe.

This year, the tournament will showcase the new Lovell Arena, a state-of-the-art facility located just 20 miles south of Boston in Rockland, MA. With three sheets of ice and state-of-the-art amenities, Lovell Arena delivered an unforgettable experience for players and their families at SHI Boston 2024. Expect more of the same plus even more! 

Hosted by The Great Blizzards of Massachusetts, an inclusive ice hockey club based on the South Shore and Cape Cod, the SHI 2025 Tournament is set again to raise the bar for special needs hockey. How does a team qualify to
be in SHI and the Tournament?

To qualify for the SHI Tournament, special needs teams must be registered/affiliated with their respective National Governing Body, such as USA Hockey, Hockey Canada, or another IIHL-affiliated governing body. By joining SHI and participating in the tournament, teams become an integral part of the vibrant worldwide Special Hockey community.
